GTA 4 - The Impossible

In GTA 4, they eliminated the jetpack which I used to like to use to explore the tops of tall buildings and look around. Most of these buildings don't have stairs you can climb up to get to the rooftop so I had to improvise. This was my 20th or so try with the helicopter and I couldn't tell if I made it or not until the helicopter fell away. Did I nail it? Or do I crash and burn?
